Lexington VA – Business owners Ugo and Gina Benincasa announced today their retirement from day-to-day business activities. To celebrate this momentous occasion, an Open House Celebration will be held on April 13, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Sheridan Livery, their iconic inn and restaurant in downtown Lexington.
Ugo and Gina Benincasa are recognized as some of Lexington, Virginia’s most prominent business owners for the past 40 years. As Italian immigrants the Benincasa’s are the true story of finding success through the American dream. Though they came for a fresh start, they did not leave their heritage behind, rather they have used it to open successful restaurants around the city with authentic Italian roots.
The Benincasa’s are finally taking a step back after a job well done and retiring from their three businesses in Lexington: the Robert E Lee Hotel, Rocca Bar Ristorante, and the newly renovated Sheridan Livery Inn. Ugo and Gina are finally able to retire after enlisting Taylor Hospitality – an Up to Par Management company, to manage both hotels and their accompanying restaurants. We hope that everyone in Lexington will join us for coffee and cookies the morning of April 13 to wish Ugo and Gina a happy retirement and thank them for helping put Lexington on the map.
